The challenge
Plenty of talent, zero store
Mautik is a Panamanian handicraft brand: handmade jewelry, crochet pieces and keychains with a style all their own. The product was there — what was missing was infrastructure. Every sale happened on social media, through DMs, screenshots and manual payments.
That created three concrete problems:
- No real online store: no browsable catalog or cart, just photos in a feed.
- No automated payments: every purchase meant coordinating a bank transfer and confirming it by hand.
- No inventory control or data: no way to know what sells, what's in stock or who's buying.

Checkout integrated with Stripe: real payments, webhooks, automatic confirmation emails and stock updates on every completed purchase. No more coordinating transfers and confirming by hand.
Admin + authentication
An admin dashboard to manage products and orders, NextAuth authentication (Google login), customer reviews and light/dark theme. The brand runs its own store without depending on anyone.
